Buyer, Aerospace Materials. I am responsible for the procurement of various raw materials, casting, and forgings. Also the procurement of tooling, hardware, machining inserts and machine lubricants. Knowledgeable in FAR and DFAR requirements. Familiar with HAZMAT requirements and product shelf life documentation.

My role at C & A starts with dealing with Aerospace Contracts/Purchasing admins, receiving RFQ's, estimating the time to do the job, request quotes from outside vendors for processing, completing the quote, review with upper management, process quote. If we are chosen to produce the product quoted I then must set up the internal traveler, co-ordinate with purchasing/goto guys/project manager/outside services/inspection/shipping to provide the end product to the customer. Also responsible for keeping account of property provided to C & A to perform various machining functions.

Single Point of Contact for Entire Division. Responsible for all L-3 S&N Pricing Proposals. Proposal Activity well in excess of $100,000,000 per year. Direct report of VP of Finance.Prepare monthly financial tracking for internal IR&D and B&P projects. Including tracking program actual against budget, and providing variances to project leaders.Responsible for coordinating all Government Property Activity including quarterly and annual reporting. Government and Customer audits. Documentation and tracking of Government furnished Assets.Received training for advancement into the contrats departmentAlso responsible for L-3 S&N Proposal activity. Focusing to quick turn-around time for proposal, input analysis, updates for latest information, revised delivery schedules and revised turn-on dates. Coordination with proposal team regarding schedule, management reviews and final proposal preparation. Upon contract award provide budgeting to Program Manager based on negotiations and monitor program costs. Responsible for review and accuracy of all L-3 S&N expense reports.
