Works with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve technical system problems in a timely manner with a primary focus on complex problems.• Perform System Administration duties such as installations, configurations, troubleshooting, kernel tuning, user access administration, file system tuning, hardware configuration, system performance tuning, disk management, custom package creation, shell scripting.• Work closely with engineering and application teams to develop, plan and implement application deployments to on premise, private and public cloud implementations • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation scripting. • Develop and maintain the comprehensive systems architectures, frameworks and application interfaces • Work with senior IT staff and management to develop and maintain company technical processes and standards

Act as a highly visible Technical and Administrative management presence within the Enterprise. Senior Systems Engineer possesses the technical skills, experience and leadership necessary to make decisions that ensure the highest level of guaranteed service to USACE. The Senior Systems Engineer will ensure that adequate resources are allocated to the correctly prioritize and scheduled work. The Engineer will ensure that our customer and that the management is fully informed on technical issues as necessary.
