In this role, I lead the implementation of evidence-based programs as part of the HEALing Communities Study, a federally funded initiative aimed at reducing opioid overdose deaths. I manage large-scale, community-driven interventions across 16 high-risk communities, ensuring sustainable change through research-backed methods.• Spearheaded the implementation of naloxone distribution models in 45 organizations and linkage/retention programs in 15 organizations, which contributed to the reduction of overdose deaths.• Conducted community perception analyses on the opioid epidemic, producing critical insights published in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment and other prestigious journals.• Oversaw data collection for the largest community-based randomized qualitative study, ensuring high-quality data management across multidisciplinary research teams.• Developed and executed project plans, tracking deliverables, deadlines, and team performance.
