Five months working for brands and shops including Costa Coffee, Gillette, Hugo Boss, John Lewis, Debenhams and House of Fraser, designing and specifying large brand launches in department stores. Modelling up shop floor layouts and applying promotional material for best effect.Completing quick turn around projects to produce drawings for quotation and prototyping and liaising with the sales and factory floor ensuring the client receives desired product.

Five months contractor on projects for clients including Boots, L’Oreal, Rimmel and Maybelline. Creating components from sketches through to CAD models, prototypes and production parts to sign off. Understanding materials, processes and finishes available and their inherent properties and advantages. Managing multiple large scale and smaller, fast pace projects with different teams. Co-ordinating with manufacturers, graphics department, sales team and project managers whilst updating the company database.

Freelance design consultant producing engineering drawings to obtain registered design rights; designing graphics and product labels and producing packaging art and models for chocolate artisan company.

Three month summer internship at a design consultancy researching materials, tolerance data, manufacturing costs and producing data sheets. Primary task was redesigning several metal die cast components to improve strength and lower production costs. Project was a customisable wheelchair designed to evolve as children grow and meet all medical requirements.
