I am currently responsible for all the first article inspections, both visual and the mechanical inspection. I use multiple hand tools, included but not limited to, calipers, drop gages, gage pins, compatitors, cmms, vision machines, etc. I do incoming inspection of inserts, dowels, and parts returning from outside vendors. I investigate non conforming product and other issues with the product and molds. I write,run, and troubleshoot programs for the CMM (PC-DMIS). This is just some of my responsibilities.
