I have been working as a Skills Builder at Meridian Health Services Corp since August 2023, where I provide case management and skills coaching for high-risk children and their families. As part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, I collaborate with therapists, social workers, and educators to deliver individualized and holistic services that improve the mental health, family support, and overall functioning of the children I serve. My goal is to prevent them from being placed in institutional care and to help them thrive in their communities.I am also pursuing my Master of Social Work degree at Indiana Wesleyan University, with a focus on social work practice with children and families. I have a Bachelor's degree and an Associate of Science degree in Social Work and Human Services, respectively, and I have been recognized with honors such as the Phi Theta Kappa and the Journey fellowship of youth workers. I have a passion for international youth work and have participated in youth worker exchanges and fellowships through The Journey program. I am always eager to learn from and connect with others who share my interest in serving the needs of youth here and abroad.
