Stagehand is a general term for a very involved profession. The duties of a Stagehand can range from simple labor calls, to highly skilled technical assignments, forklift operation, as well as supervisory and mentoring opportunities. Work for various clients such as Jones Drones Cleveland, Cleveland APL, Christopher Axelrod, and countless bands, small businesses etc...

Hired as an apprentice in IATSE Local 27 Stagehand Union. Completed 3 year apprenticeship, plus 2 additional years. Duties included carpentry, welding, sculpture in foam and steel, project management, design, material ordering, rigging, counterweight "fly rail" line set operation, installation, and demolition.

Originally hired as an actor for the Carnival Of Horrors, became quickly involved with the business side of the attraction, and branching out to other attractions including a variation within the IX Indoor Amusement Park. Key responsibilities taken on included marketing & design, management & training for over 100 employees, soundtrack design, set building & design, budgeting, and supply ordering.

Multi faceted position that included file preparation, customer service, imposition (efficient print sheet layout for multiple print jobs, finishing, and more), sales, training of new employees, and training resource creation. This position was held alongside a marketing position during same time period. Created multiple new sales leads with my personal network as well.

Position born from a simple company request of "please email us any ideas you have to help our business". With this challenge I immediate drew up a simple business/market research report and was given a small budget to spearhead, design for and create a target marketing campaign for the Haunted Attraction Industry. Creating a 5 fold increase in profits from these specific customers in its first year implementing a more "foot to pavement" budget friendly approach, the campaign continued… Show more Position born from a simple company request of "please email us any ideas you have to help our business".
