Paralegal on complex litigation cases in a variety of state and federal jurisdictions in California, Florida, Virginia, and Maryland. Cases involved construction disputes, contract disputes, government contracting disputes, and intellectual property.-Directed discovery efforts in complex litigation cases.-Corresponded with and coordinated efforts with expert witnesses in preparation of expert reports.-Directly supported attorneys in multi-day, multi-week, and multi-month trials.-Prepared privilege logs.-Prepared trial binders, witness preparation binders, and issue files.

Researched sale comparables for wide variety of properties in the Chicago area ranging in value from $500,000 to $600 million including an analysis of the John Hancock Center and the Prudential Towers. Also kept an active portfolio of for-lease and for-sale properties for wide variety of clients including Staubach, MB Real Estate, and Inland Real Estate. Led work group of approximately eight people doing sale comparables and related support, provided direct instruction and helped run everyday activities under direction of immediate superior. Also served as newswire editor for approximately one year writing leading stories including a feature piece regarding the effect of Federal Reserve requirements on commercial mortgage industry. Edited and screened stories for entire Chicago team of approximately 16 people. Pioneered and created news instruction program that is still used company wide today by more than five hundred employees.
