Over the past 15 years, Mike has successfully litigated and served as lead trial counsel throughout Missouri and Illinois in matters involving large exposure trucking and automobile accidents, wrongful death claims, premises liability, and dram shop liability cases where millions of dollars were at stake.Mike has argued before appellate courts throughout Missouri and has been before the Missouri Supreme Court on multiple occasions. One of the matters that Mike appeared before the Missouri Supreme Court resulted in his selection as a 2017 Influential Appellate Advocate by Missouri Lawyers Weekly, a prestigious award given to the Missouri lawyer who obtained the year's most significant appellate decision.Mike has received the honor of being selected by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of personal injury litigation every year since 2013, an honor bestowed on no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Missouri and Kansas. He has also received the Outstanding Young Lawyers in Missouri and Kansas award by KC Magazine.Mike has presented at numerous seminars on topics such as trial preparation, automobile and transportation litigation, bad faith litigation, and insurance coverage issues.
