Introduce, establish, and grow combined GIS efforts between the City of Morristown, Hamblen County, Morristown Utility Systems, and the Hamblen County Emergency Communication District. Primary responsibilities include maintaining relevance by providing easy to use, trusted applications across all patterns of business that are driven by well-documented, stable, authoritative data. Additional duties include the collaborative management of data to minimize redundant database entries, map revisions, and other duplications of effort in order to streamline and improve the services provided by each participating agency. Additional responsibilities include maintaining data availability for all partners, providing training for system users, and guiding the MHGIS Steering Committee in the overall direction of the enterprise GIS program. Other duties include providing technical assistance on incorporating GIS technology into current departmental workflows.

Administrate Cityworks Server Asset Management System (AMS) including modifying, optimizing, and maintaining the Cityworks web application; querying, reporting, and supporting external integration of the Cityworks database. Peripheral duties include troubleshooting, training, and evaluating system users, and coordinating with other departments and agencies to assure required information is compatible with Cityworks AMS.Additional duties involve providing key GIS services for related infrastructures and operations of the Department of Engineering and Public Works including the development, collection, and maintenance of spatial data. Other responsibilities incorporate statistical and quantitative spatial analysis for Clean Water Act regulatory compliance, project support, and third party data deliverables, as well as, designing, creating, and modifying production quality cartographic products for staff and public use.

Selected to support the Town’s limited GIS staff collecting federally mandated outfall location field data. Aided in the development of the Town’s geographic information system by providing final deliverables in a format that met current industry standards.
