True North is focused on creating solutions that help small and mid-sized organizations make the transition from Desktop GIS into enterprise solutions connected to key business systems. My current position is involved in the Public Safety vertical as well as enterprise GIS database integration, management and automation.

Public Safety GIS Manager working as a liaison between the Office for Information Resources and all 100 Emergency Communications Districts in Tennessee. Authored the "Tennessee Information for Public Safety" (TIPS) schema standard in conjunction with the statewide Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) transition. This became the de facto GIS database schema for all districts within the state. This dataset includes street centerlines, address points, and a variety of other geographic layers to help dispatchers locate 9-1-1 callers. Managed a team of technicians who perform QA/QC and aggregation on this dataset.Also was involved in an effort to consolidate street geometry with TDOT in a project known as Tennessee One Road. This project would create a geodatabase where a common geometry would be used by both OIR and TDOT to facilitate road inventory, LRS, and addressing to satisfy all business cases.Was involved from time to time in a support role with local disaster recovery efforts (i.e., tornadoes of 2008) and the military in various exercises/drills (i.e., Vigilant Guard '08).
