I direct five groups of extraordinarily talented software engineers and designers. They create and enhance the code underlying STAR-CCM+, our advanced physics-simulation software. We are responsible for the object model, client-server communications, and managing jobs on "cloud" or local high-performance computing clusters. We also set the strategy for user experience. I try to ensure we work on useful tasks, preferably determined by some mechanism more reliable than a coin-toss, though I can't say that's never happened.
