pipe welding on carbon and stainless oil and gas projects all to asme 9 standards

My current position entails welding pipe work ranging from 2" up to 30" in carbon and stainless steel, All welding has to be done to ASME standards and has to be able to pass visual and NDT inspection.

Tig welding a variety of materials and sizes. These ranged from 2"sch10 up to 48" xxs carbon,stainless and duplex on a new build gas refinery

contracting for different companies.I started out doing work for Statoil in the IKM workshop this entailed welding pipework ranging from 1" up to 20" in all ranges of materials using TIG welding process, Then I got moved onto an LNG plant for Scangass having to design, manufacture and fit stainless steel ventilation line all welding had to be done to ASME standards and had to be able to pass visual and NDT inspection.

Working on the Claymore platform. This job entailed welding all new lines getting fitted (stainless steel, Duplex, Super duplex, Carbon) all welding was done using TIG process and must pass visual and NDT inspection.

Working on the Sedco 711 at Invergordan doing a sea disposal line. The job entailed welding 1", 8", 10" and 12" carbon sch80 pipework using MMA process to root, fill and cap. Then I moved onto the galaxy 2 doing a high pressure carbon line using the TIG process ranging from 1/2" up to 2". Then I moved onto the galaxy 1 doing a choke and kill manifold and 5" xxs flarestack line. My last position with PD&MS was working on the Blackford dolphin in Belfast doing rig maintenance.

I worked in a fab shop producing structural modules for offshore instillations. All welding was carried out using MIG bare wire root and fluxcore fill and cap.

Working on the Balmoral carrying out rig maintenance.I worked within the bilges strengthening the deck.

Working on the jasmine hookup. Welding pipework from .5" up to 20" on all ranges of materials (carbon, stainless, duplex, super duplex) in processes TIG and MMA.

Working on the gryphon alpha (fpso). The job included welding duplex and carbon pipeline and repairs ranging from 5"-20".

Working on Rig maintence welding pipework. Materials used (carbon, stainless, chrome, duplex)Processes used was TIG, MMA and Fluxcore. Also worked in fab shop on pipework.

After completing my apprenticeship, My duties included; welding pipework from 1" dia to 12" dia in a range of material types for the Oil and Gas industry, in processes, MIG , TIG, MMA, Automated Orbital welding, Submerged Arc and Inlayed welding machines, being the senior operator and charge hand for all machine welding processes.
