School Social Worker
Current* Responsible for my assigned caseload of HS aged students with IEPs* Help students deal with personal and interpersonal issues affecting their success in school* Deal with student crisis situations* Advocate for students at school and in home when conflicts arise* Evaluate students for Emotional Impairments, Clinical Depression, and those expressing Suicide Ideations. * Provide written summaries per IEP guidelines as well as for referral information to medical and/or psychiatric staff* Students have been comfortable and felt safe enough to be able to form trusting therapeutic relationships and share their very most personal issues, worries, concerns, and other things that they have kept hidden from any other adults in their lives
