Management and Leadership of a team of Incident Planners. In the scheduling and logistical coordination of 150 plus engineers covering IT Hardware Break/Fix activities. Adhering to clearly defined ITIL-based processes and procedures whilst reacting proactively to team issues. Responsibility for back office system administration. Analysing system issues to detect potential problems. Including Problem Management in terms of identifying relationships between operational incidents and known problems. Chairing and producing minutes for team and cross-department meetings. Providing 24/7 standby cover for one week in every three, acting as sole point of contact and decision-maker for the Field Services Department outside of business hours. Ensuring that HR processes are followed in respect of team performance and sickness. Maintaining communications with senior members of the company and external customers.Ensuring CI information is accurate through monitoring of CMDB’s for customers.Project Support:Actively supporting refresh projects for Zurich and Barclays and “retrofit” projects for Dell.Ensuring agreement and authorisation of work packages.
