As the store's Marketing Associate, I oversee all advertising campaigns, working with the general manager and owner on goals, targets, and our message. I work with print, radio, television, and internet media; operate and oversee the company's Facebook page (3,000+ fans), as well as the company's website; plan and manage special events and promotions; and work with five different departments on store layout, displays, and sampling products. I also work with the departments on product launches, including packaging, labeling, placement within the store, and promotion. My responsibilities also include overseeing a staff of 6-10 retail employees, with an emphasis on pushing sales and passing information on to customers.

As a field support intern, I was in charge of creating credit forms for accounts payable credits, performing data research to support field auditors, data entry, and calling vendors on potential accounts payable credits. This opportunity was an internship that gave me experience in an office setting, gave me experience in forming relationships with clients and vendors, and gave me experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook in a business setting. The internship ended after two years with the company and was a great learning experience.
