The Coffee Ranch, founded in downtown Grand Rapids in 1901, was purchased by Herman's Boy (then The Melting Pot) in 1982 and moved to Rockford. Along with roasting fresh, high grade coffees on site, Herman's Boy also features a deli and smokehouse, a bakery, a confectionery, kitchen gadgets, and The Outdoor Cook grilling gadgets and utensils.
