I am a Civil/Structural Engineer with over 13 years professional experience in both local government and consulting. I have worked as a consultant engineer for the past 11 years. I am a Member and Chartered Professional Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Australia and am registered on the National Engineers Register in both Civil and Structural categories. I am registered in both Tasmania (building services provider - classification: Engineer - Civil) and Queensland (RPEQ). I am a Registered Professional Engineer in NSW (PRE0000828)I have extensive design, management and construction supervision experience in both small and large scale projects focusing my work in the broad areas of civil, structural and hydraulic engineering. My specialty is multidisciplinary engineering projects where I can deliver successful outcomes with a strong focus on economic balance and construction practicality. Having worked on large scale multidisciplinary projects as lead design engineer has meant that I can work effectively within a team environment, either as an integral member or team leader. In October 2019 I moved to the mid north coast of NSW and commenced as Engineering Manager for Land Dynamics Australia, and gained extensive experience in land development projects in a new state.In December 2020 I formed Hay Consulting & Engineering to provide focused, reliable and innovative engineering services to primarily the mid north coast of NSW and Tasmania, however with the opportunity to work on projects all over Australia.
