Working with CTO team to investigate 100G single/dual wavelength(s) DWDM coherent/non-coherent (PAM-4) long-reach transceiver solution for cable access networks. Tracking with optical specification in IEEE 802.3, OIF, and Cablelabs.Lead CRDC CABU to develop DOCSIS 3.1 HFC Headend & Node optical Tx & Rx modules, I-Temp DWDM 10G SFP+, and design of DWDM, iWDM Analog optical transmission link. CRDC HFC group has built a comprehensive verification solution of ODVT, Dev-test and System test solution for HFC analog Tx/Rx and high speed digital transceiver. Published one technical paper and presented at 2016 NCTA cable show.

Work in Cisco CRDC, CABU, SHANGHAI, Responsible for R&D of the next generation HFC network equipment. Such as optical node, headend optical platform, etc. Also focus on DOCSIS 3.1, EPOC, pluggable RF optics, and other related technology.

Responsible for drafting standard proposal, attending the FSAN (full service access network) meeting and making the presentations (3 times). Co-editor of WDM-PON chapter of NG-PON2 technology white paper of FSAN (Co-authored by NSN, ADVA, Ericsson, LG-Ericsson, ALU and Huawei). First proposed using counter-propagation method to mitigate the Raman crosstalk to the RF signal. The idea is praised and accepted by Verizon.

And having other 7 patents in Application.Attend ITU-T/FSAN NG-PON2 standard meeting, draft and present several meeting proposals. Lead ZTE WDM-PON prototype demo in Vodafone/BT/Telefonica headquarter.Have strong background in optical and photonic devices for telecom. Have hands-on experience of PON network, especially with optical module of WDM-PON, NG-PON, 10G-EPON. Have excellent knowledge of linear and nonlinear optical impaction of multi wavelength system, especially about PON and RF coexistence system.
