Michael currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank USA, and Deutsche Bank Trust Company.Additionally Michael serves on the Board of TP ICAP in London; as Senior Independent Director, and a member of Risk, Renumeration and NomGov committees. In 2017, Michael was chosen as the inaugural Chairman of the Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and served in this capacity until June 2021.In addition, Michael serves on Lafayette College's Board of Trustees.Michael worked in the Financial Services industry spending the majority of his career at Morgan Stanley, both in their New York and London offices. He retired after 28 years at the Firm, most recently serving as the Global Co-Head of Fixed Income Sales and Trading Division. Michael was a member of Morgan Stanley's Firm Operating Committee and Firm Management Committee. He was also a member of the Firm Risk Management Committee, responsible for oversight of the complex risks of the company. Michael's skills include his experience in risk management, including market, operational, and franchise risks. Additionally, he has extensive capital markets experience, having advised corporations on multi-currency debt offerings, IPOs, and exchanges. Michael meets QFE standards as a Financial Expert. Michael attended Lafayette College and in 1986 received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He received his Executive MBA in Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
