Serve as Head Coach of Reisterstown Stallions (high school age) Fall baseball program thru the Reisterstown Recreation Council. Practices, workouts, and games are held from March thru November. Serve as Associate Head Coach of Reisterstown Red Fireballs Spring/Summer baseball team that plays in the Carroll County Stallions League.

Sunday morning modified fast-pitch softball league. The league started about 45 years ago at Pikesville Middle School and Pikesville High School. I joined the league as a player/manager 30 years ago, assuming the role of Commissioner in 1993 when former commissioner Paul Blinken stepped down. Howard Goldberg has served as PMSL Commissioner for the past 5 years. The league has 8 teams and plays games on Sunday morning at Northwest Regional Park in Owings Mills, MD.

Went to 90% of Capitals home games, serving as the team ophthalmologist. Also traveled with the team during the playoffs from 1984-1997 as part of the Capitals team medical crew.In my early years with the team, I also helped the coaches and general manager out with in-game statistics including ice time, faceoff performance, quality scoring chances, hits, and giveaways. I gave up those responsibilities when the league took over the stat staff, around the same time that the team moved to the MCI/Verizon Center.I still have several friends working for the team in the front office, training staff, event staff.
