Responsible for oversight of YCA's booking function including supervision of booking staff, oversight of artist servicing function and supervising artist servicing staff, development and oversight of YCA's flagship artist training program (The 21st Century Artist Incubator), co-managing and building strong relationships with YCA artists and providing them with career guidance, strategic project development (co-commissioning projects, chamber music touring programs), clear professional expectations, and overall mentorship, cultivating strong relationships with presenters, artistic directors, conductors, and managers to secure performance engagements and strategic partnerships, participating in strategic thinking around how YCA serves each artist and carries out their mission, participating in the full life cycle of YCA, which includes attending fundraising events, attending annual auditions, supporting Board and donor cultivation, helping to plan/program for YCA produced concerts, and working alongside a fifteen person staff.

Oversaw all aspects of the founding and establishment of a new chamber music concert series based in Chicago, IL in residence at the Holtschneider Performance Center on the campus of DePaul University. Duties included writing organization bylaws, founding charter, and mission statement, securing a 501(c)3 designation, building a new website(chambermusicchicago.org), programming inaugural 19-20 season, securing and contracting guest artists, developing marketing collateral, developing fundraising plan, establishing board of directors, securing and negotiating partnership between Chamber Music Chicago and DePaul University, and all other logistical planning.

Oversaw production of all presentations, including negotiations, contracting, and all related logistical planning, supervised technical arrangements, including hall and rehearsal space rentals, completed the procurement and delivery of all orchestral and choir music, supervised all aspects of front of house and box office, including coordinating volunteer schedules, collaborated with Marketing Chair to plan and implement all promotional outreach including collateral development, concert program development, and website maintenance, in an effort to raise visibility and to meet budget targets, collaborated with Fund-Raising Chairs on all development plans including fundraising events, appeal campaigns, grant applications, and gift acknowledgement, served as the point of contact for outside curators, co-presenting partners, media partners, sponsorship partners, and other program-related contractors, collaborated with Board President and Board Treasurer to develop and monitor the operating budget, worked closely and collaboratively with the Music Director and all members of the Board of Directors to develop and track the implementation of a strategic plan.

Provided strategic career advice and guidance to international roster of artists and ensembles, sourced and booked performance engagements, processed booking inquiries, negotiated performance fees, coordinated artist itineraries and publicity materials, continually scouted new talent for potential additions to roster, and developed and cultivated artist and presenter relationships and sales opportunities.

Provided strategic career advice and guidance to international roster of seventeen artists and ensembles, sourced and booked performance engagements, processed booking inquiries, negotiated performance fees, oversaw the contracting process and management of all booked engagements, coordinated artist itineraries, prepared and coordinated artist publicity materials, continually scouted new talent for potential additions to roster, and develop and cultivate artist and presenter relationships and sales opportunities.

Advised and worked with roster of international artists and all presenters to determine content of all recital programs and concerto repertoire performed, served as liaison between all YCA roster artists and contracted presenters to schedule artists’ domestic and international travel, coordinated rehearsal schedules, residency schedules, accommodations, local transportation, hospitality, and ancillary social events for artists for every contracted engagement, as well as YCA series engagements in NYC and Washington, D.C., obtain U.S. working visas (O-1, O-2, P-1) for international artists, obtained foreign work permits/tourist visas for artists performing outside the United States, prepared detailed itineraries for all engagements, tracked travel expenses for artists, and issued contracts for all YCA booked concert engagements.

Processed contributions and wrote acknowledgment letters, organized and maintained donor database and all electronic and paper files, wrote and prepared proposals, reports, and support materials, assisted in the planning and implementation of special events as well as pre- and post-concert cultivation events, researched and identified foundation, corporation and individual prospects, and all other assigned tasks.

Oversaw all general operations of the Marlboro Music Festival during the summer, including but not limited to hiring and supervising all summer staff, coordinating volunteer schedules, acting as a liaison between Marlboro Music and Marlboro College, ensuring the smooth production of all aspects of informal and formal concerts, coordinating the selection, shipment, and maintenance of as many as 20 Steinway & Sons pianos from New York City to Vermont. Oversaw all logistical and artistic aspects of the Musicians from Marlboro concert series in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall and other touring activities, including concert programming, coordinating rehearsal schedules, budgetary maintenance, travel arrangements including obtaining visas for foreign artists, communication and coordination with artists and artist managers, contract execution, development of partnerships with presenting organizations, coordination with all presenters to ensure smooth production of concerts, development and design of all printed materials, audience development, and assisting with all marketing and advertising efforts including social media.

Oversaw the development and execution of e-mail marketing campaign. Assisted with social media execution, collateral production, website maintenance, and all other tasks assigned by the Director of Marketing.

Spearheaded the marketing and production efforts for the annual Family Concert collaboration withthe Chicago Shakespeare Theater, assisted with community outreach, partnership development,distribution of collateral, implementation of timelines, social media development, copy developmentand editing, program research, creation and distribution of press releases, creation of electronicpostcards, and all other tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager.
