I started in Manufacturing in 1997 as a cnc machine operator. After 3 months on the shop floor running machines I moved in the qaulity control lab to program CMM's. I worked my way up to the lead inspector position and was responsible for all first article inpection process's and injection mold first piece inspection approvals. After 3-1/2 years i choose to go and be a cnc programmer and operator again with a new company. After several years at this position I went back to being a CMM programmer for a large Aerospace and Medical manufacturing shop. 2 years into working for this manufacturer I took on the role of Quality Engineer. I was responsible for working with our Aerospace and Medical customers Engineering departments to discuss drawing tolerances, Geometric tolerancing and inspection procedures to assure all companies were on the same page. After 9 years at this company I moved on to be a design engineer for a sheet metal company. I was responsible for drawing parts in Solidworks and setting up nesting processes for laser operations and was responsible for quality control inspections. After 2 years I had the oportunity to move on to a marine manufacturing company as the lead design engineer. Here i am responsible for product design and FEA of parts. I also program the CNC machines for the shop floor and design fixtures for manufacturing.I have worked in both ISO and AS companies and worked within those quality systems.Since 2006 I have also owned Hesse Machine LLC, a cnc machining company. I machine parts for many different areas including Aerospace, Medical, Marine industries, and general job shop work for local companies. We also have our own product line for the R/C Industry.
