After being honorably discharged from my service in the US Army, I started The Houston Veterans Network on LinkedIn.com. While every branch of service provides a degree of support, I decided to utilize my experience with computers to take it to the next level. I created a forum that would allow members to communicate and utilize the value of social networking in a professional and social manner. Manage assigned telecommunication and IT related projects for Fortune 500 companies. Communicate with clients and business share holders as to the scope of work and the necessary requirements in terms of technical resources and hardware. Locate resources globally by utilizing existing partnerships and recruiting new partners to ensure the assignment in completed in a timely manner. Ensure the scope of work is followed as instructed and that issues are properly communicated and escalated for resolution to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Focus on the assignment’s critical importance, customer satisfaction, and profit and loss margins. Key Projects & Achievements:- Conduct site surveys in conjunction with network device installations. - Manage the implementation of fiber optic network enhancement for Fortune 100 companies- Communicate with Vendors, Partners, and Subcontractors to allocate the proper resources while managing P/L, time constraints, and customer satisfaction- Recruit the necessary resources with the proper skill set and requirements to perform the assigned scope of work.

Provide personalized client support and technical issues resolution by telephone and email. Develop expert knowledge of in-house developed software and its use at client facilities. Troubleshoot database, test and verify reported problems; Devise solutions and workarounds, if possible. Meets with Support team to discuss support trends and devise new strategies on improving the support process. Attend training sessions on new products and provide input for development of user manuals for these products. Evaluate software releases and provide feedback to the Quality Assurance and Development teams. Produce and maintain diagrams and written instructions on the software including procedural documentation. Alternate managing the 24 Hour support line. Monitor user forums for accuracy and content.
