Systems Engineer Staff
CurrentSince 2001 I have supported government customers in the systems design, development, operations of satellite based remote sensing systems. Systems engineering experience includes system definition through testing and validation of requirements, and development of requirements for future systems. Daily responsibilities include ensuring the data integrity, interoperability of data sources, reporting any discrepancies, and validation of product formats, as well as participating in community working groups to define future systems.Highly skilled in the development and integration of new products and capabilities with experience in leading transitions, assurance and evaluation of product/image quality, and monitoring of daily operations. Developed system concept of operations, requirements, and system test plans, executed acceptance tests, and presented results and recommendations to customers. Transition Lead: Authored test plans, and led product quality acceptance tests System Definition: Matured and reviewed requirements for future systems Algorithm: Developed tools for modeling and analysis of remote sensing dataSkills: System Integration, Requirements and Test Plan Development, Verification and Validation Processes, Image Processing (ENVI/IDL), Image Compression (JPEG2000), Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PCB Layout, Microcontroller Programming, Oracle Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Focal Plane DevelopmentPeraton acquired Perspecta in May of 2021. Perspecta was formed in 2018 as the combination of Vencore and DXC Government Services.Through a series of spin-offs and acquisitions, Vencore was formed by the combination of The SI Organization (Lockheed-Martin spin-off), Applied Communication Sciences (heritage Bell Laboratories), and Qinetiq North America.
