Mr. Hoffman has over 37 years of experience serving the needs of local governments and private developers. He has served as project manger for over 30 comprehensive plans, predominately for small and mid-sized communities and counties. His practice has focused on business district and corridor revitalization, development review, and preparation of modern zoning and appearance codes. Landscape architectural assignments have ranged from large scale land planning for a 1,500 acre mixed use development to landscape design for the Algonquin and Morris City Halls.He served as Chairman of the Mount Prospect Plan Commission and the Downtown Strategic Plan Committee, and has completed the National Charrette Institute (NCI) training course. He recently completed Comprehensive Plan for Dubuque, Iowa and Cape Girardeau, Missouri and is currently updating a Master Plan for Historic West Des Moines, Iowa.
