Michael P. Hogan is a Bankruptcy Attorney and Department Manager of the Bankruptcy Department at Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. and practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, and commercial litigation. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, Michael was elected by his peers to serve on the Board of Directors for the Consumer Bankruptcy Association of the Eastern District of Michigan. A member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, he has been a speaker for the Steven W. Rhodes Consumer Bankruptcy Conference, American Bankruptcy Institute's Central States Seminar, ICLE’s Bankruptcy Reform Act: One Year Later, and the National Bar Association Annual Conference. Mr. Hogan serves as a the Conference Co-Chair of the Steven W. Rhodes Consumer Bankruptcy Conference. Michael was also selected to serve on the Local Bankruptcy Rules-Chapter 13 Subcommittee. He is a contributing author to ICLE's "Handling Consumer and Small Business Bankruptcies” and has authored two Best Practice Guides/How to Kits for ICLE.
