In charge of the Meteorological Tower (MET) & SODAR programs for wind farm development projects at NextEra Energy. This equipment helps the wind development science team at NextEra Energy gather data to analyze the possibility of building a wind farm at certain locations in the future. Some of my tasks (but not limited to) are the logistics of getting equipment moved, ensuring accurate wind data is being captured, and working with vendors around the country on the installation/maintenance of this equipment. I also assist with inventory and month end accounting reconciliation related to the MET/ SODAR programs.
