Responsible for leading Scheduling and Inventory teams. Review MRP; correcting errors and refining parameters to align the schedule with production needs. Create and maintain load data identifying bottlenecks and assisting in resolving them. Established and maintained throughput, reviewed actual manufacturing times (adjusting as needed), and leveled loads to meet demand. Set pull schedules and refine inventory processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Implemented pull system in electrical assembly area to reduce lag time and improving ability to change as needed due to chip availability. Additional duties include setting up manufacturing methods for new parts, releasing jobs, providing lead-times, buying outside machined details, reporting delivery status to project managers, assist department managers as needed to keep material flow steady, and manage process suppliers.

Responsible for training and supervision of planning/scheduling personnel, procurement of raw materials, routing of manufactured items, reviewing and adjusting planning parameters, scheduling and releasing jobs to production, reporting production issues to company officers, measuring and reporting machine backlogs and potential bottle-necks, reviewing and making decision to outsource/in source items to maintain level work center loads, reviewing and monitoring APS, providing planning system support and training to engineering, weekly updating and reporting of the Master Schedule, providing lead-times to sales/management for capital equipment quotes, as well as other additional responsibilities as determined by the officers. In addition to core responsibilities I also lead annual branch inventories as well as monthly material cycle counts. I monitor all WIP activity for review by corporate auditors. Continuous Improvement Team Leader tasked with streamlining and improving material planning processes from design to stock.

As Production Manager.Responsible for supervision of both union and salaried employees and oversee the operation of all production and machining departments. Responsible for managing material flow in the plant and interacting with planning, sales, engineering, purchasing, and quality control departments to maintain a steady work level and material flow. Also responsible for managing the master schedule, training production/planning departments, providing MRP support to the planning department, evaluating MRP accuracy, developing and implementing ISO procedures, driving improvements to quality and on-time delivery, maintaining facilities, resolving union related issues, and meeting budgetary constraints. Research and recommend capital investments for plant improvements. Lead master schedule and production meetings.As Planning Manager:Responsible for managing the master schedule, evaluate MRP accuracy, establish goals for planners and measure performance, perform employee evaluations, implement continuing education plans, meet budget objectives, report on departmental objectives, reach employment objectives, and resolve interdepartmental issues.
