About Michael Hope

Partner in Stamp Taxes having worked in tax more generally for more than 20 years. I have worked in tax since graduating in physics and find the problem solving skills learned at uni fit really well with a career in tax. Stamp taxes have been my passion for the last 8 years or so, but I have worked in Real Estate tax, international tax and family business taxation, giving me a good grounding in most UK taxes (and some non-UK ones!). Complex issues with legal, commercial and multi-tax issues are where I like to live and I thrive on finding my clients the best solutions to the most difficult of tax issues.
