Families First Bedfordshire provide a variety of services for families with young children living in Bedtord. The Charity hold a Children's Centre contract with the local authority as well as running a neighbourhood Nursery (Smarteez Nursery) and a variety of specialist services such as therapeutic support for children and several programmes for current and historic victims of domestic abuse.The Charity employs 50 (approx) staff and deliver services across a wide area of Bedford. As CEO I oversee all operations and strategic direction with other senior staff and a highly experienced board of Trustees.

Strive to promote social inclusion and empowerment.Lead, manage, commission and oversee the planning, implementation, operation and evaluation of a defined group of centres (hub & spokes) and services, in accordance with Local Authority service level agreements and relevant legislation.Deliver improved outcomes for children by establishing all year round provision. To meet the requirements of the Children’s Centres Core Purpose in accordance with service level agreements and deliver a seamless service from a family’s perspective.
