Dr. Hunter is an experienced research scientist, project manager, and professional writer/editor. Prior to starting Lucent Consulting Group, Dr. Hunter spent the last few years supporting military and civil health organizations as a research and development consultant. He has provided subject matter expertise in a variety of disciplines including TBI, PTSD, Blast Injury Research, and Psychological Health. As a project manager and writer Dr. Hunter has been a lead author or contributing author for dozens of technical reports for government organizations.As a Translational Research Scientist at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Hunter designed, developed, and managed multiple research projects; successfully developing a gene delivery system to treat rare blood diseases. As the project manager, Dr. Hunter was responsible for a team of researchers, interns, and students. He also initiated successful collaborations with multiple research institutions including the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, NIAID, and NHLBI.
