Chosen as interim chief until city developed procedure for selection of permanent Chief. Rewrote modernized Rules and Regulations, implemented 1st agency Mission Statement, new policies in areas of pursuit, use of force, weapons, TASER, domestic violence, etc. Implemented other changes to assist incoming chief with transition, including professionalization of fleet and logo, began building a locker room, prioritized capital expenditures list, assisted area task force investigations of drug trafficking problem, reconstructed fatal traffic crash.Also assisted City Manager in selection of new streets supervisor by sitting on the board of review and provided security for Pesidential candidate Senator Barack Obama.

Post Commander in southeast Ohio providing professional State police services for a 2-county (+) area. Member of local 9-1-1 boards, EMA, advisory boards, citizens groups. Local PIO for Division. Served as assessor in Assessment Centers and as inspecting officer for divisional compliance. Nearly 29 years in Division in a variety of roles throughout the State of Ohio.
