I have been in the Engineering and Construction industry for 31+ years starting with boiler/furnace maintenance, then as an Instrument Apprentice before becoming a Journeyman Electrician and Instrument Tech before moving into Project Controls as a self taught Cost Specialist and Planner in 1997. From there I worked in all aspects of Project Controls including two years as a seconded employee to a major Petro-chem company working Cost and estimating on Turnaround projects in the Gulf Coast Area.Following that experience, I went back to Capital projects for two years on the construction side, before moving to S&B and the engineering side as a PCM on an Alliance project in the Houston area.That experience led to an opportunity to work for 5 years as a Project Controls Advisor on International Mega projects for Chevron Upstream. Moving on to midstream projects in the downturn, I enjoyed the challenge of Project Controls for modularized export dock construction. That work led to a position as a Project Controls Manager for Burns&McDonnell. Specialties: Scheduling and CPM, Planning, estimating, cost control and forecasting of Capital projects from a TIC perspective.
