Spike Island, Cork Harbour

Project Manager responsible for delivery of all aspects of phase 1, including procurement strategy, project brief development, administration and management of design consultants, contract strategy, procurement of contracts, construction. commissioning and hand over. Responsible for all financial aspects of the 6m capital budget from coordination with Failte Ireland (part funding agency), through value engineering, change management, certification, liaison with Cork Co Co, forecasting, cost reporting to project close out. Procured Primary Passenger Ferry License Operator. Prepared Capital Grant Application in 2016 for Phase 2 Funding to build on the international success of Phase 1. Spike Island Phase 1 consisted of 14 projects. This project was voted as Europe's Top Tourist Attraction at the 2017 World Tourism Awards Ceremony in St Petersburg, in September 2017. Fortress Spike Island has also received two commendations at the Chambers Ireland Excellence Awards in 2016 and the Irish Tourism Industry Awards in 2017.

Senior Resident Engineer with responsibility under NEC Option C Form of Contract for administration and management of all aspects of Construction compliance in accordance with Core Clause 4 - Testing and Defects. The project was awarded the prestigious title of Engineers Ireland - Project of the Year 2019

Site Manager with responsibility for delivery of 15m Euro Landslide Programme, which included 7 contracts involved in stabilising and remediating 43 critical slopes and walls within municipality of Cobh.

Responsible for the safe distribution, operation & maintenance of water & wastewater infrastructure in Waterford City and environs to meet all statutory & legislative quality standards . Responsible for major capital investment programmes to cover current & future needs to address industrial, commercial, residential and public water consumption and treatment requirements.Project Managed the procurement and delivery of the initial phase of the Waterford Main Drainage collection,pumping and treatment contracts.

Carrigrennan Wwtp, Little Is, Co Cork

Senior Resident Employers Representative responsible for the delivery of the €73m DBO (FIDIC) WWTP & Outfall facility in Cork Harbour for Cork City Council. Responsible for safety, cost, quality, programme, risk management, communications, public relations, technical coordination, commissioning and hand over. The contractor consisted of a JV of 5 partners.

Atlantic Pond Pumping Station /Summerhill

SRE responsible for all site administration and management of civil and marine works associated with construction of a major pump station adjacent to River Lee. It included a 150m storm overflow/diffuser pipeline.
