As an Engineering Manager at Intel, I lead a team of senior and staff process engineers on thin film processes, overseeing technology development, pathfinding, and capital equipment operational allocation. I also coordinate first-of-a-kind platform introduction from concept to high volume manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability.With nearly eight years of experience in the semiconductor industry, I have developed novel process capabilities through interdepartmental collaboration, delivered solutions to greatly improve yield and reduce defect density on multiple tech nodes, and introduced capital equipment alternatives via vendor DOEs and demonstrations. My work has resulted in three patents. I have a PhD in Chemistry from UC Irvine, with a focus on Chemical and Material Physics, and I am proficient in modelling and material surface characterization. I am passionate about advancing the frontiers of science and technology through innovation and collaboration.
