I hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of South Australia. I am also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.

My role at PwC has enabled me to work with leading Australian and multinational companies and be provided with highly accredited technical and soft skills training. As a Director, I am responsible for delivering our the firm's vision and strategy, whilst maintaining the highest level of service to clients. In addition to my client facing roles, I was the Account Manager for our Resources group in South Australia. My role at Ernst & Young included providing tax advisory and tax compliance services to leading Australian and multinational companies. As a manager, I was responsible for managing and motivating staff, setting fees and budgets, liaising with clients, managing the billing process and ensuring that the client’s expectations were met.

My role included the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all business entities, such as partnerships, trusts and superannuation funds. I was also involved in the preparation of business plans and cash flow forecasts for business clients. As a senior staff member, I was involved with the supervision and training of junior staff and was responsible for delegating work to members of the client team.

I was the Treasurer of the western warriors football club and committee member from January 1998 to September 2000. My role including managing the clubs financial affairs from managing membership and sponsorship collection, paying bills, preparing monthly accounts and bank reconciliation's and GST returns. I was also involved in the preparation of a Government Grant for funding to upgrade our clubs facilities. The club turned over approximately $150,000 during this period.

I was a member of the committee for the West Adelaide Tennis Club. My responsibilities included developing and organising the social club events, volunteer tennis coach for the juniors and assisting with preparation of the club tournament.
