NPI Design Engineer capable of translating a brief into tangible market ready product.Full understanding of NPD (embryonic ideation to hand-over).I hold a BSc. in Engineering Design, multiple CSWP's and tertiary qualifications in electronics, aircraft instrumentation, engineering science and I.C.T which enrich the potential cross pollination of innovative ideas present in my designs.First-hand knowledge from having successfully implemented a comprehensive NPD design and development program for a large OEM, implementing and administrating CAD systems with libraries, in-house standards and full PDM admin, tutoring colleagues in the use of said systems and chaired the SolidWorks User Group of Southern England.My primary focus is product development supported by a healthy proficiency in parallel and supplementary NPI core design processes, CFD, FEA, DFM, DFA, DFMEA, PFMEA, PM (Prince2 guided), BoM costings, procurement, technical authoring, presentation s with detailed rendering which all serve to bolster my resource.
