I’m currently serving in the navy as a nuclear chemist. I am consistently striving towards more qualifications and furthering my development and level of knowledge as I am become more senior in my division. I will be working towards finishing my nuclear engineering degree in the near future and I am looking for a college that accepts credits from successful completion of Naval Nuclear Power School as well as Machinist Mate 'A' School, and Engineering Laboratory Technician schooling based out of Charleston, SC. I have recently completed my Basic Nuclear engineering qualification while standing watch as a qualified ELT. I will be further developing my level of knowledge with mechanic qualifications until I am senior in rate. During my Naval schooling for nuclear power, I was a quick study. Naval Nuclear Power School drives sailors to be studious individuals, as the information is described as "drinking water through a fire hose." Nonetheless, I was able to centralize my priorities and graduate with a 3.2 GPA. Prior to the Navy I was a sales representative at Best Buy, where I developed my level of knowledge of all in-store products and formed relationships with current clients and potential future clients. I drove sales and developed a passion for learning about all in store products and discovered how that knowledge would drive my customers to return and purchase more merchandise from me. Throughout all my experiences I have developed a passion for learning and achieving greatness, as well as striving to be the best I can possibly be, regardless of whether I am selling products to customers, studying for an exam, practicing and further developing my oral communication skills, or operating a nuclear power plant.
