Hello, I'm Michael Rainier Meehan-Keeffe, a recent latin honors graduate from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Environmental Engineering. As of my recent accomplishment in December 2023, I am enthusiastic about embarking on the next phase of my professional journey.Currently serving as an Engineer in Training (EI) at MAP Engineers in Chattanooga, I am gaining valuable experience and contributing to projects in the civil site engineering realm. This role allows me to apply my academic knowledge and field experience, further enhance my skills in Civil 3D and REVIT, and build a growing knowledge base of the various permitting systems in Tennessee and the Tri-State area in addition to general civil engineering principles and practices. I have recently obtained my Blue Card in the State of Georgia.Beyond my academic achievements and professional experience, I am actively pursuing my Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, with a particular interest in water resources and environmental engineering. My main concentration is in water resources, but I'm equally enthusiastic about structural engineering, illustrating the diversity within my skill set.My solid understanding of the EPA Clean Water Act, NPDES permit program, and stormwater management positions me as a professional ready to contribute meaningfully to sustainable community development.
