Initially starting an apprenticeship in 2000, I was on site installing kitchens and shop fitting, after 12 months I went on to be a cabinet maker for 9 years with Davis & Shaw, installing panic rooms, shop fitting for companies such as Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Finch, Calvin Klein. Then in 2010 I went on to open my own business, ‘Michael John Joinery’ where I completed a variety of domestic and commercial projects across the country. Project 20 LTD then became my next business venture, managing a group of different skilled workers and laborers and having worked on many projects, helping build the COVID hospitals in 2020 and working at schools and big brands across the UK. Project 20 LTD (my company) was selected amongst 1400 applicants to assist with the Cardiff University hospital project, which was the second fastest hospital built in the world.
