What makes us tick? That's the question I've been interested in for a long time. From my almost 20 years working with adolescents and families leading to foundng Leading Edge Seminars in 1993. My interest, vocation and joy is findng those people on the "Leading Edge". The people whose contributions are first received as "what's this!?" and within a few years are met with "this is it!". In my early years, it was the work of Fritz Perls, Ram Dass, and a 5-day training in Milton Erickson's tiny Phoenix office that opened my eyes to new realities.But the waves keep coming and over the years the introduction of mindfulness, neuroscience, creative behavioural approaches have caught my eye. And then there are the people who start new therapies and approaches that capture the imagination of those working with people. And this job working to help change people must be one of the most difficult around.I'll continue to keep my eyes open and share when I learn. And then introduce and support these people through workshops and webinars to let others know the exciting new developments in the ever-changing field of psychotherapy and helping others. Along the way I value what I learned from my friends and colleagues. What's turning you on? What's working and what's not? How do we live in pro in these times?
