Responsible for developing and implementing economic development initiatives and projects to promote and establish Wagga Wagga as a future focused, thriving regional centre. Working in partnership with NSW Government to deliver on the Bomen Special Activation Precinct (SAP), the Riverina Intermodal Freight and Logistics Terminal (RiFL), key infrastructure and exploring new initiatives to promote development and growth of the City. Key activities include working with local business representatives, interest groups and stakeholders to support, grow and develop to provide employment and investment opportunities across the City and region. Oversee city activation projects that build on and enhance the liveability, lifestyle choices and opportunities and attractiveness of Wagga Wagga. This includes major recreational projects and infrastructure such as the Active Travel Network (42km of shared pathways across the City), Pomingarlarna Multi Sport Cycling Complex and Riverside Recreation and Beautification projects.
