Provision of expert, specialist and consultancy advice, support and commercial adherence to executive, management and senior staff regarding all strategic sourcing initiatives for the whole of councils contract and procurement direction. Co-ordinate and resolve very complex whole of council strategic and procurement projects with considerable autonomy to consolidate and rationalise contracts that span a number of departmental functional areas.Co-ordinate major and more complex contracts for the end to end procurement process including identification of the need, acquisition planning, tender document preparation, market approach, evaluation and negotiation, recommendation and contract establishment.
