My name is Michael Kotsopoulos and I am currently a second year Architectural Technology Student in my fourth semester (out of six) at Durham College. Currently I am on track to earn my Advanced Diploma in Architecture and hope to get into the field as soon as possible, and hopefully becoming a licensed Technologist one day.During my past two years at Durham College I have learned many new concepts and a lot about what it is like to work in the field. I have also mastered skills in AutoCAD as well as Revit software and have used other architecture/modeling programs such as SketchUp and 3DSMax during my time in school so far. I have worked on a wide range of projects such as additions, renovations, residential buildings, as well as commercial buildings that have helped prepare me for when I am in the field.Throughout my life I have always been on teams, and have considered myself to be a team player. I work well collaborating with other people but can still work well on my own in order to complete the task at hand. I feel that I am a very hard worker and that I often do not stop working until I know that the job is done/complete. I feel that my skills and that what I have learned during my time at Durham College have made me ready to get into this field of work, and begin my career in Architecture.
