I work at the interface of investment, funds management, strategy, technology and GTM.In my recent career I have:• Delivered 150+ strategy, innovation, performance and implementation consulting projects as an analyst, manager, director, lead and advisor at a leading and multi-award winning international consulting firm of 800+ staff and as a sole practitioner• Helped establish, grow and consolidate new offices in 3 capital city locations• Raised US$500m in venture capital funding, a AU$200m green debt fund, a $50m balance sheet debt round and ~$100m of senior project financing.• Led investor relationships and the raise of a $77m venture capital fund was over-subscribed many months ahead of target final close date, closed $35m+ of commitments to global and US VC fund products• Investor in 10+ early stage startups across B2B SaaS, EdTech, FinTech, DeepTech, HealthTech and coach 20 companies ranging from pre-seed to Series A stages• Developed and implemented the capital raising playbook for a global VC asset manager raising 12 funds across 6 continents • Co-founder of a renewable energy startup with a mission to develop and own Australia's largest distributed solar and storage footprint. Developed Australia’s largest retail solar and storage project • Led M&A projects from market scan through to selection, negotiation and due diligence and integration• Originated, negotiated and closed large scale and global strategic partnerships, including with a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest corporate holding companies and a national Australian contractor• Advised as a practicing lawyer property developers, municipal councils and statutory agencies on environmental and planning disputes and transactions• Founded and ran an education services business for 15 years with consistent growth YoY and 10+ affiliates and contractors• Earnt degrees in MBA, Engineering and Law with awards for honours and distinctions in all with study completed in Melbourne, Shanghai, Vancouver and Texas• Was a Board Director of an Australasian not-for-profit and Chair of Performance and Effectiveness Committee• Coached and led junior and mid-level consultants, built high performing teams and volunteer coach ambitious early career professionals through established community programs
