With a multifaceted career that spans over two and a half decades, my journey has been driven by a commitment to leadership, creativity, and contributing to the betterment of my community. Writers write - not just simply because we want to - but because it is inherent to our very nature to be story tellers. I channel my passion for storytelling into screenwriting, creating original narratives drawn from a wealth of diverse life experiences. My screenplays are shaped by insights gained as a decorated Army veteran, wildland firefighter, public speaker, child abuse prevention advocate, published author, and government executive, ensuring each story resonates with authenticity.A bit about me…I was awarded the Bronze Star medal in the Army for my work as a military photojournalist during the Gulf War and received the prestigious Department of Defense Keith L. Ware Award for the most outstanding military newspaper as a senior editor. I also published a fiction a novel (“Burn to Black”) based on my experiences as a wildland firefighter. I've completed graduate school programs at both Willamette University and Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. I also worked as a public speaker, drawing from my childhood experiences in an abusive foster home, to educate foster & adoptive parents. While I’ve had a successful career as a high-level executive in State and local government, writing has always been my greatest passion.
