Procurement Finance Analyst
CurrentConduct cost/price analyses utilizing a variety of analytical tools that include market trends, parametric models, statistical analysis, and detail estimating to support the development of the value of hardware/software.Support the procurement organization in procurement activities including: preparing detailed bid instructions for the Request for Quote/Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) process, conducts fact-finding on supplier quotes or proposals, collects and verifies supplier's cost data, evaluates cost elements in the suppliers' proposal, prepares and presents cost analysis report and leads the pricing negotiations with our suppliers.Apply knowledge of estimating and pricing processes to develop detail and parametric estimates from drawings, engineering work statement, configuration memos, and high-level statement of work.Translate estimates into financial forecasts, provide cost and/or price information to cross-functional teams, management and customers, perform various economic analysis; net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), return on investment (ROI), break-even analysis and present results to cross-functional teams, management and customers.Put together a business plan and supports risk and opportunity analysis. Articulate to upper management with a positive outlook and attitude.Communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and has the ability to evaluate technical and operational information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
