I am Michael Stang, a current undergraduate Junior at The University of Kansas pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Ever since I received my first computer at the age of 10, I have been exploring the world of Computer Science, and have worked both individually on passion projects, and with a team on various projects both for fun and for various competitions. This includes HackKU 2023, in which I led my team to win Best Use of Google Cloud at HackKU 2023, a 36 hour hackathon hosted by KU.On top of that Hackathon win, I have developed tons of fun and useful programs like "Automatic YouTube" a program that automatically generates YouTube videos from start to upload using advanced generative AI and large language models. In addition to my various experiences programming, I am also the owner of my own company which produces both media content and software applications. The media side focuses on short-form content with over 100,000 followers and over 90 million views across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Leveraging my audience I've launched a software development company that creates applications that specifically appeals to my audience.In addition, my experience managing my own company has put me in a plethora of professional environments as I have navigated working with various companies to acquire sponsorships, network, and come to mutually beneficial contract terms. I have worked with companies ranging from indie startup companies to multi-billion dollar corporations like Hasbro and eBay.
