It is hard to believe that it was in 1990 that I started my legal practice in St Albans. When I first came to the city I knew no one, had no idea how to run a business and it was in the middle of a bad recession. I believe the lessons I learnt on the way have helped me to understand the needs of our clients and give a better service. Solicitors provide an important and valuable service which is often under appreciated. I also recognise we do not help ourselves. There is much we can do to promote a better relationship with the public. My philosophy is to combine the traditional strengths of solicitors with the best modern methods and technology to provide legal solutions that surpass expectations. That only works if on a personal level we take the time to learn about our clients and agree with them the outcomes they want.It is a source of great pride and no little amazement, that I still act for many of the clients who started using me in the early days. Personally, I really enjoy my work and get real satisfaction helping my client’s overcome difficulties and make the most of opportunities for their business or family . In more than 30 years acting as a Solicitor I have practiced in many areas of law, dealt with all types of clients and overcome many different challenges. I also have practical hands on knowledge running a business. That has given me a very well rounded outlook and somewhat unique perspective. In a time when most solicitors are increasingly specialised I can look at a problem from many angles and come up with solutions that simply would not occur to many. Particular Expertise: I deal primarily with non-contentious company commercial matters and for high net worth individuals. I like to build a close relationship with my clients and become a member of their team providing general legal and commercial counsel. I look forward to meeting you and seeing if I can be of help.
